In retrospect, this may not have been the best gift to give to all of my friends, but it was just so damn funny after I ordered one, I ordered one for everyone that was single. I had a great time reading it and after an initial insult, hopefully they laughed too. Again, it's a great mood reliever, it makes you take a step back and realize it's all going to be okay.

I coupled this with a 'mini worst case scenario: Sometimes people don't need pity or a shoulder, sometimes they need to channel it a different way. These books give you a chance to see situations in a whole new light. I got a kick out of it, explains how to tell the gender of your date, how to escape a bad date by way of escaping the bathroom etc. Full step by step instructions with diagrams, would make a great gift. The book comes off as sarcastic, yet funny.

There is information in there that will likely never be used by anyone, yet there was some new information that I learned! Anyway, funny and entertaining read. Wish the book was longer I know, I know.. This book is funny, marginally informative and about as lightweight as air puffed popcorn. It is unlikely to be a repeat read for anyone and as such makes a good gift for the right person.

The advice is suitably illustrated in a comic fashion and is best enjoyed read in the company of friends. Not a whole lot here. Mostly common sense stuff. Fun book to read. Another good coffee table book to thumb through and have on hand to read in a group. And it's actually helpful, despite being incredibly funny!

I'm not fond of the Worst-Case series and this one just seemed like a receipe for disaster. Surprisingly it didn't suck? It wasn't great; there was at least one seriously transphobic entry hint: I was expecting it to be horrible, but it ended up just plain "blah. Feb 09, Vennie rated it really liked it. Stopped reading it when it started calling transgender people "he or she" and saying that you determine what their gender are from stereotypical traits rather than them actually telling you it and you accepting it, fuck off, that is not a red flag in any way, in fact the writer of this book is more of a red flag than anything they write in this book. I mean I guess there's some bullshit party tricks here and there but really that nullified anything about this book, the actual warnings are all based on popular culture conventions and was it really that hard to just write the common basic Red flags that actually matter rather than be a unfunny prick? I spotted this at a garage sale, and thought it would be a laugh, which it totally is. I now know how to tell if I'm on a date with man or a woman, how to escape from a bathroom, how to disguise myself if I have to escape a date, and how to remove a bra.
